The torque rating of the single stage (ratios 3:1, 4:1, 5:1) Neugart E-series planetary servo-gearheads is increased by up to 250%. The torque density of the E-series Neugart gear heads is now factor 2 or more, higher than a comparable size units of competitors. The higher torque density will allow Neugart customers to "downsize their gear selection", i.e. use more compact, space saving and more economical gearheads. The increase was accomplished by using additional (up to 5) planet gears in the new design. Conventional designs have only 3 planets Using more planet gears not only increases the torque load ability, but also the rotational stiffness, hence reducing the amount of "rotational wind up" (lost motion). Advantages for the user: Possibility to use smaller gearbox / more compact design; Increased economy - reduced cost, $/torque; Weight reduction ; Reduced elastic, rotational wind up, more precision |

E-series units with square output flange (W)PLE 60/70 The new 60/70 size is the newest addition to the Square Output Flange E-series units. The optional Square Output Flange E-series units (W)PLE 60/70; (W)PLE 80/900; (W)PLE 120/115; facilitate an alternative mounting next to the he standard drilled and tapped output mounting face. The same time this unit have larger front bearing i.e. are uniquely suitable for application with high radial output shaft loads such as rack & pinion, pulley and timing, cams etc. . |
